ERF Innovation Award

Purpose
This new annual award recognizes a remarkable contribution to innovative research for the betterment of North American Elk. The award may recognize efforts in the last year or a collective work compiled over a period of time.

Background
The Elk Research Foundation is a 501(c)(3) foundation with a rich history of providing scientific research of elk health issues. Relevant issues have evolved over the years and the current board of trustees is focusing on keys issues that will bolden the future of elk ranching in North America.

Award
A plaque is presented during the annual conference of the North American Elk Breeders Association. A press release will be shared with media, including notification to the members of the United States Animal Health Association. Nominations are due by May 31, 2020.
